Case study
SHEmakes Transfers
I am redesigning the Shopify store for SHEmakes Transfers, a family-run DTF and UV DTF print shop in London, Ontario. The new theme gets a customer to a custom order, or to one of 2,522 ready-to-press designs, in a few taps.

How it came together
The challenge
Small businesses and makers come to order transfers, not to browse. The old theme looked like any other storefront, so the redesign puts turnaround, ratings and the two ways to order up front, and a first-time customer knows what to do within seconds.
The approach
Built as a layer on top of the existing theme rather than a fork: new Liquid sections for the hero, ticker, perks, process and FAQ, a referral program page, and React islands bundled with Vite where a section needs to move, each one mounted and checked in a real browser before it ships. It keeps the shop’s raspberry, cream and blush palette with Playfair and Satoshi, and runs as an unpublished theme so the live store is untouched until the shop approves it. Built with Shopify Liquid, React and Vite.
The result
In progress. Previewing as an unpublished theme for the shop’s review.
